Rock & roll boiled in my blood after attending Diesel Black Gold show this morning. The large warehouse feel with cold metal benches seated five rows of people. The gull of chatter and interviews died down when the upbeat music got the models marching down the white runway. DBG’s SS16 collection got me wishing summer wasn’t over. Mix of shirting, leather, sheer separates and dresses are perfect for transition between day and night looks.
Andreas Melbostad’s inspiration was an image of a girl wearing a men’s shirt (Vogue). His combination of womenswear and menswear fashion created a sophisticated refined collection. Sheer dresses and separates were paired with boots, oversized jackets and pants. The work overall was made into a cool girl must-have from an option of a dress overall to a buckled strap suiting and leather pant overall.
I would style the next IT girl in this collection. It’s all about confidence, boldness and courageousness.

Let’s talk more about sport sandals / slides / flip flops. They went from the lockers to the runway to the streets. Besides the good ol’ Nike and Adidas slides and the Birkens, designers and retail labels took their stab at it. They look comfortable and fabulous all in one.
